I am so excited to be sharing a little glimpse into Jake and Cassidy’s wedding at Davis & Grey Farms!! It was THE BEST day celebrating the love of these two. Unfortunately, there was a cold front that came in a few days before their wedding day, so we had to work through that, but Jake and Cassidy held through like champs!! You can’t even tell they were freezing their booty off! I am overjoyed to finally be sharing their wedding day on the blog. I just love these two!

Davis & Grey Farms Wedding

I started their day off by photographing their bridal details. If you have read any of my other wedding blogs, you know details are one of my favorites of a wedding day! Cassidy had a beautiful butterfly pendant that was her grandmother’s. She actually had it pinned to her bouquet. I LOVE sentimental heirloom touches such as these! Following details, I moved into capturing both Jake and Cassidy getting ready as well as Cassidy’s first look with her wonderful Groom and her dad. I’m a daddy’s girl at heart and the first look with dad always makes me tear up!

Our timeline for the day got switched around a little bit due to weather conditions, so we went right into newlywed portraits following the first looks. We only had about 15 minutes to do their newlywed portraits, so we powered through them! They both shared a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends. All of the guests present participated in a “lighting of the candles” with the bride and groom, which they then lit a unity candle symbolizing two people joining in marriage. It was the most beautifully intimate moment!

Jake and Cassidy danced the night away with all of their guests. Everyone had SO much fun with these two! They shared a private last dance before exiting through a sparkler tunnel and skipping off into the distance!!
