I had such an amazing afternoon with Jake + Cassidy for their engagement session at Prairie Creek Park! This was my first time taking one of my couples to Prairie Creek for a session. I couldn’t be happier with how these sneak peeks turned out! Unfortunately, we did have to battle some extreme humidity throughout their session, but we definitely made it work, and you wouldn’t be able to tell just looking at these two!!

We started off their session around this gorgeous tree hub. It was bringing in some amazing lighting, and also providing a little bit of shade for Jake and Cassidy as it was pretty hot! These two were naturals in front of the camera. I love when my couples come to a session and they say something like, “We are so awkward in front of the camera”. Because it’s SO not true!! I remember showing Jake and Cassidy a photo from the back of my camera and they were so shocked at how amazing they looked! They absolutely loved what they were seeing already. I just can’t get over how cute these two are!!

We finished their session down by the waterfall/pond area where we got some amazing shots! Engagement sessions are one of my favorite sessions as I really get the opportunity to see a totally different side of my couples. I LOVE it! They were so relaxed and comfortable – and were troopers in this summer heat and humidity!

Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Meador! I cannot wait to celebrate these two later this fall at Davis and Grey Farms!!
