These two were a dream to work with!! I had the best afternoon photographing their adorable sunset engagement session at Murrell Park, and I’m so excited to share a little sneak peek with you today!

Recently, I’ve had the privilege of joining an associate photographer program under Christa Robey Photography! She is such an amazing individual and wedding photographer, and I am so blessed to be a part of this wonderful team of talented ladies.

How the program works

If you are unfamiliar with how an associate photographer program works, I would love to explain! An associate photographer is a photographer who photographs weddings or engagement sessions on behalf of another experienced photographer, but the images are edited by the head photographer in order to give their clients the look and feel of their own work.

An associate photographer works as an independent contractor for the head photographer and represents the head photographer and their brand. If the head photographer (Christa!) is unavailable for a couple’s wedding date, but the couple loves the look of the head photographer’s work, the head photographer will hire an associate photographer, or have an existing team of associates, to shoot on their behalf… and that’s where I come in! Christa has built a team of 5 amazingly talented photographers. So, if you see anything with the hashtag #CRPTEAM, this is what I’m referring to!

We had such an amazing time during their engagement session at Murrell Park – lots of smiles and cute giggles! This was actually my first time photographing at this location and I already can’t wait to go back! It is SO beautiful here. Congratulations to this adorable couple.
