I am SO excited to be sharing Abbie and Brandon’s Dallas engagement session today!! We had such a wonderful time together on this beautiful sunny afternoon! These two are the sweetest couple ever, and the love they have for one another really shines through their photos. We started off their session in downtown Dallas at the Winspear Opera house – one of my favorite spots within downtown! We also stepped on over to the Meyerson Symphony Center for a few snapshots as well. Following our time in downtown Dallas, we then made our way over to a municipal building where we captured some “look alike” courthouse photos!! This was SO FUN and allowed for a lot of creativity.

Abbie and Brandon also loved the idea of incorporating a rooftop moment into their session, and we did just that! We ended their session with a few quick photos on a parking garage rooftop to really bring in those skyrise building vibes. These two are incredibly stunning and I’m so excited to be sharing a glimpse into our time together! Check out a few of my favorites from their session below!!

How Brandon Proposed

Abbie and Brandon met through a mutual friend during their freshman year of college. During the height of the pandemic, Abbie graduated high school in 2020, which meant her first full semester of college was all virtual learning. One of Abbie’s best friends, whom would later become her roommate while living on campus, would travel pretty frequently to hang out with Abbie in their spare time. Her friend had attended high school with Brandon. He ended up noticing Abbie in her friend’s IG story one day and wanted to meet her in person! They officially started dating in January of 2021. For their first date, they went ice skating and finished with dinner and a movie at Abbie’s place. He also met her parents for the very first time that night as well! Abbie and Brandon will be celebrating three years together this year!

Brandon proposed in the sweetest way ever!! Abbie thought she was going to a casual dinner with friends. One of her friends suggested they catch the sunset before dinner. She asked Abbie her opinion on where she would want to go for the sunset, and Abbie accidentally mentioned the exact place Brandon had set up for the proposal! Keep in mind, Abbie is currently living in California attending college while Brandon is living in Texas. She has no idea that he’s even in California at the time as he wasn’t supposed to travel over until one week later!

Abbie made her way down the walkway and noticed a random proposal all set up. She never imagined it would be hers as Brandon isn’t even supposed to be in town! Brandon walked around the corner and surprised her with the most beautiful proposal!! Abbie couldn’t say YES! fast enough! They celebrated with both of their families, dinner at her favorite restaurant, and a surprise party with all of their friends!!

My heart is incredibly happy for these two!! Abbie and Brandon will be tying the knot in January 2024 at The Hillside Estate. I cannot wait to celebrate these two next year! Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Wolov 🥂
