I am so excited to be sharing Megan + Logan’s Dallas Arboretum engagement session with you today!! These two were absolutely fantastic – I swear, I have the most amazing couples! The Dallas Arboretum is on my top list of locations to photograph an engagement session, especially during the winter months. Even with the unpredictability of Texas weather, the Arboretum provides numerous stunning locations that can be photographed year-round.

This was the perfect engagement session to start off my 2023 season! These two wanted to keep their session very fun and easy, and we did just that! I absolutely loved how Megan and Logan were not afraid to be their love-dovey, romantic selves in front of the camera. It always makes for the BEST photos. How He Proposed

Megan and Logan met at freshman orientation right before they started college at Abilene Christian University! They both had a couple of mutual friends, and quickly became really good friends themselves during their freshman year of college (he TOTALLY liked her their freshman year, but Megan was completely OBLIVIOUS 😂). They started dating at the beginning of their sophomore year and got engaged four years later! Logan is currently enrolled in law school at Texas Tech, so Megan was under the impression they were going to a law school reception at Shady Oaks Country Club one weekend. When they arrived, Logan walked Megan outside and asked her to marry him! Megan was SO caught off-guard. Following the proposal, they both celebrated with all of their friends and family!

Megan and Logan will be tying the knot at The Springs Event Venue in Weatherford, TX in July 2023. Cheers to the future Mr. and Mrs. Patterson 🥂
