I am so excited to share Cheyenne and Matthew’s Dallas engagement session today!! I absolutely loved spending my Sunday morning with these two – they are the sweetest duo! We started their session off at Flippen Park and ended at The Fountain Place in downtown Dallas. This was my first time exploring this part of downtown and I LOVE how these photos turned out! I will definitely be utilizing this beautiful, quiet space for future sessions. Thankfully, we had decent weather for this November day! That sunrise lighting is **chef’s kiss!!

How He Proposed

Matthew and Cheyenne were middle school classmates but never actually talked until junior year of High School in their Physics class. They started dating in August 2015 right before their Senior year! Their first date consisted of lunch at Chick-Fil-a followed by a stroll around Target… literally every girls dream 😂 They just celebrated seven years together!

Matthew and Cheyenne were visiting their Grandparents in Michigan this past August. During the trip, they visited Marquette, Mi where they explored the city, just the two of them. They ended up walking through a beautiful park that was located right along the shoreline of Lake Superior. While by the shoreline, Matthew proposed! It was such a beautiful day and the perfect spot for a proposal. Right after Matthew proposed, a couple walked by and congratulated them. The couple also said they were on vacation celebrating their 30 year wedding anniversary! This seemed like a sign of good luck to them – such a cool moment!!

These two will be tying the knot in the fall of 2023 at the Aristide in Colleyville! Their wedding day will be such an amazing celebration. Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Chantelois 🥂
