Brittney and Trey’s downtown Dallas engagement session was one for the books!! We had SO much fun walking around Winspear Opera house and the surrounding areas of downtown. These two were such a joy to work with and I’m so excited to be sharing a little sneak peek into our time together!

We started their session off at Winspear Opera House (one of my favorite locations to start at!), had a blast walking around downtown during their session, and finished the session on the top of a parking garage with gorgeous skyscraper views behind us. The weather was absolutely amazing, and the golden-hour lighting was “chef’s kiss”!! Can’t ask for a better combination!

How He Proposed

Brittney and Trey first met when they were kids. They both attended the same church, and, coincidently, their family’s live right next to each other, so they were very familiar with each other! They began talking after they reconnected at a country club. Later that same night, Trey asked Brittney’s brother if he could ask her to dance (he said yes!). They danced the night away and even shared their first kiss here!

Trey proposed in the sweetest way – all of their friends wanted to take joint friend Beach trip to Florida. There was about 13 of them total going on this “spur-of-the-moment” trip! When they all arrived, they decided to get some group pictures taken to remember this amazing time. At one point, Brittney wasn’t paying attention, Trey got down on one knee in front of all of their friends, which they already had their camera’s ready, and she said YES!!

Brittney and Trey will be tying the knot at The Nest at Ruth Farms in April 2023. I cannot wait to celebrate with them next spring! Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Amirault!! 🥂
