I am so excited to be sharing Cecilia and Armon’s Dallas engagement session on the blog today!! I had the honor of photographing these two amazing, genuine human beings, and I couldn’t be happier with how their engagement session sneak peeks turned out!!

We started off their session at one of my all time favorite engagement locations, Turtle Creek Park! This location provides SO much variety, and I absolutely love shooting at the Arlington Hall mansion. It provides the perfect background for dreamy photos! After our time at Turtle Creek Park, we finished their session over at White Rock Lake, another one of my favorites. We had the PERFECT sunset “golden-hour” lighting!! AH, just dreamy! We had such an incredible time together and I’m so stoked to be sharing their amazing photos!

How Armon Proposed

They first met when Cecilia was an undergrad at Michigan State University working in the chemistry lab. Armon came to visit his cousin, who happened to be a graduate student in the same chemistry lab as Cecilia, and one day she walked in and saw Armon sitting in her chair.. so that prompted their very first conversation! Armon is actually from Texas and Cecilia is originally from Michigan. Following their first encounter, they went their separate ways. Armon flew back to Texas and didn’t hear from her for six months until Cecilia made a surprise trip to Texas! They reconnected with each other and haven’t looked back since! 🤍 

Armon proposed in the sweetest way – they both were in Michigan visiting Cecilia’s family and she REALLY wanted to go to Lake Michigan as that was one of her all time favorite spots. While walking along the beach, Armon started saying wonderful things to Cecilia about her and their relationship. He turned Cecilia around to face the water, and she saw her best friend and immediately knew what was happening! Armon then asked Cecilia to spend the rest of her life with him, and of course, she said YES!! And, all of her family members were able to enjoy this amazing moment with them both!

Armon and Cecilia will be tying the knot in Michigan in 2023. I couldn’t be happier for them both! Congratulations to this amazing couple!! 🥂
