I am so excited to be sharing John and Katelyn’s engagement session with you today!! We had such an incredible time exploring a few vintage locations around Lubbock, TX. These two are just so full of life and so fun to be around. I absolutely loved getting to know John and Katelyn during their session, and capturing this beautiful season in their lives was the icing on the cake!
Unfortunately, we did have a “run-around” with locations at the beginning of their session. I originally planned for us to go to this gorgeous park in Lubbock, and everything was just dead when I arrived… It was horrible. I immediately called Katelyn and told her we needed to go to one of my backup locations! So, we ended up starting off their engagement session around an old Wells Fargo building, which I absolutely love the architecture here! It definitely complimented their vintage vibe. After spending about half of their session at this location, we then stopped in at Monomyth Coffee Shop on Broadway and enjoyed some amazing coffee. We ended their session on the Texas Tech Campus where we had beautiful golden-hour lighting!
John and Katelyn are the absolute sweetest couple! I love when my couples aren’t afraid to show their love for another, and these two made their session easy and effortless because of that. They are planning a summer wedding in a newer development in Lubbock, TX called the Vintage Township. I cannot wait to celebrate their wedding with them in June!!
