I am so excited to be sharing Michael and Cheyenne’s west Texas engagement session today! This session was definitely one to remember. I had so much fun hanging out with these two. I feel like I have been mentioning the fact that me and my couples have “laughed endlessly” in my posts a lot lately (haha!), but it is absolutely so true!! We had the best time together – lots and lots of smiles and giggles during their session!
The reason I say it is one to remember is because I had to mentally revisit the topic of Lighting 101… something I really haven’t had to think about in a few years (and I’m talking extreme sunlight…). LOL! We planned on doing the engagement session at the Sandhills State Park in Monahans, TX. I’ve been there quite a few times and have always had great “luck” with sessions at that location. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was not a cloud in sight and the sun was beaming down, and also reflecting off of the white sand – no shade, no trees, nothing. Back to the basics I went!!
Considering some of the road blocks we encountered during the session, I am still so happy with how Michael and Cheyenne’s engagement sneak peek gallery turned out! They will be tying the knot in July at the Rolling 7’s Ranch venue in Midland, TX. I cannot wait to celebrate with them this summer!!
