I am so excited to be sharing Sara and Ken’s Dallas Arboretum engagement session with you today!! These two were so amazing to work with! We had the best time together. We met at the arboretum first thing in the morning right when they opened to catch some of that dreamy sunrise lighting! It was tulip season at the arboretum, so we had lots of fun scoping out locations and capturing photos by all of the beautiful colors. By the way, I would definitely recommend scheduling a morning/afternoon to visit the arboretum while they still have the tulips on display. It was so pretty!! Thankfully, we had beautiful weather for their engagement session. Because of the tulip season, we did have to work around a lot more people than usual, but it was so worth it. I am in love with how their sneak peeks turned out! Be sure to check them out below 😊
This was the perfect session to start off my spring engagement season! It’s in FULL swing as we speak! I absolutely love this time of year. Sara and Ken wanted to keep their session very fun and easy-going, and we did just that! We started their session off by walking around the Jonsson Color Garden where a lot of the tulips were planted. Unfortunately, because of the unexpected volume of people, we grabbed some tulip photos towards the end of their session on our way out. We then made our way over to the Poetry Garden, which is one of my favorite gardens within the arboretum. This spot is fantastic for golden-hour lighting! We ended their session exploring the Sunken Garden and Crape Myrtle Allee!
Sara and Ken will be tying the knot at the Knotting Hill Place in November of 2023! I cannot wait to celebrate with these two this fall. Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Chesshir 🥂
