Macy & Ty’s Stockyards engagement session was truly one for the books. I am so excited to finally be sharing their beautiful love story here on the blog today. From a relationship that began during the uncertainty of COVID to a once-in-a-lifetime proposal in Venice, Italy, their journey together is nothing short of incredible.

From the moment we started their engagement session, it was so clear just how deeply connected these two are. Their laughter comes easily, their love feels effortless. Every moment together reflects years of friendship, growth, and intentional commitment. Photographing this season for them was such an honor, and I’m still swooning over every image!

A Proposal Straight Out of a Fairytale

Last summer, Macy and Ty found themselves in one of the most romantic cities in the world: Venice, Italy. They were traveling with family and soaking in every bit of the magic around them.

One evening, the two headed out to dinner on a private water taxi, talking about how breathtaking Venice was. In the middle of their conversation, they noticed something unexpected — a black lab walking along the canal. And not just any black lab… one that looked just like their own dog, Coop.

Macy immediately pointed it out, amazed that of all the dogs in the world, they would see one that reminded them of home. She joked about putting down a deposit for another lab, turned her head back toward Ty… and that’s when everything changed.

Ty was down on one knee. Macy was overjoyed and immediately said YES. 💍✨

The rest of the night was filled with celebrating, talking, laughing, and FaceTiming their families, grandparents, and closest friends. A proposal in Italy, surrounded by love and intention — truly unforgettable.

Fort Worth Stockyards Engagement Session

Their engagement session felt just as special as their story. Macy and Ty were so natural in front of the camera, completely at ease with one another and full of joy. From quiet, tender moments to nonstop laughter, every part of their session reflected who they are together.

I loved watching the way Ty looks at Macy — with so much admiration and pride — and the way Macy lights up around him. Their love is gentle, strong, and deeply rooted, and it shows in every image.

Capturing this season for them was such a privilege, and I’m so grateful they trusted me with such meaningful memories.

I am especially excited to celebrate Macy & Ty again this summer as they say “I do” at The Gardenia venue. It is going to be an unforgettable day filled with so much love and joy.
