Kaitlyn and Austin’s Flippen Park engagement session was full of sunshine, laughter, and the sweetest kind of love. I’m so excited to be sharing their story today—especially since they’ll soon become Mr. and Mrs. Eager this fall at The Gardenia Venue!

A Love Story Built on Friendship (and Soccer)

These two first met playing coed soccer—sometimes as teammates and sometimes as rivals. After a few months of games, group hangouts, and a growing connection, they officially started dating in April 2023. Their first date? A morning round of 9-hole golf! Kaitlyn was new to the sport but eager (pun intended!) to learn, especially if it meant more time together. That day marked the start of a tradition—they now love playing “bad golf” together often!

The Proposal—Full of Surprises

Kaitlyn suspected a proposal was coming, especially since they were building a home together. While she expected it to happen during a family vacation, Austin had other plans. While they were away, Kaitlyn’s sister picked up the completed ring. The day after returning home, Austin surprised her with a proposal near their future home. It was sweet, private, and incredibly meaningful. He even fibbed about a golf lesson that afternoon just to throw her off!

Pure Joy at Flippen Park

For their engagement session, Kaitlyn and Austin wanted photos that captured who they are—joyful, authentic, and connected. Flippen Park gave us the perfect backdrop with its lush greenery and soft light. The weather was absolutely perfect—sunny skies and warm golden light that made everything glow. These two were full of giggles and genuine smiles from the moment we started. It was a dream to photograph the love they share.
