There is something so magical about witnessing two people absolutely glowing in this sweet season of engagement — and Maddy and Cade’s Dallas engagement session was no exception. From the moment we met at Flippen Park, these two radiated pure joy and excitement for their future together. Add in their precious golden retriever, Maggie (who completely stole the show!), and it was truly an unforgettable sunrise session from start to finish.

A Picture-Perfect Sunrise at Flippen Park & White Rock Lake

We started off their session at the picturesque Flippen Park, where the lush greenery and timeless fountain made the dreamiest backdrop for those romantic, joy-filled moments. As the morning began to unfold, we made our way to White Rock Lake — the soft golden light reflecting off the water was simply breathtaking. Maddy and Cade’s laughter echoed through the breeze, making every frame feel like a little glimpse into their once-in-a-lifetime love story. Maggie was also the perfect little sidekick, wagging her tail and posing like a true star!

A Glimpse Into Their Love Story

Maddy and Cade’s story truly began back in 2019 when they first met at Texas A&M University. They lived just three doors down from one another, forming a sweet friendship through a big group of mutual friends. After reconnecting in 2020, everything changed. It was after a Parker McCollum concert that Cade first told Maddy how he felt — a night that ended with the two of them staying up all night talking. And the rest is history!

A First Date Full of Memories

Fast forward to their first date — a night that didn’t exactly go as planned but turned into a memory they both cherish to this day! Cade took Maddy to Sugarloaf Mountain to watch the sunset, only for the Texas clouds and rain to completely hide the view. When their dinner plans at a steakhouse fell through, they ended up back at Olive Garden — proof that even the most unexpected moments can be absolutely perfect when you’re with the one you’re meant to spend forever with!

The Sweetest Surprise Proposal

Last summer, Cade planned the most thoughtful surprise proposal along the river in Gruene, Texas — complete with rose petals, candles, and both of their families hiding in the trees to celebrate. He even custom-designed Maddy’s dream ring himself (how sweet is that?!). Now, these two are counting down the days until they say “I do” this fall at The Nest at Ruth Farms — one of the most beautiful venues in DFW!!

A Season of Joyful Anticipation

As they prepare to step into this next chapter, Maddy and Cade’s love story is a beautiful reminder of how precious every season of life is — from the first spark of connection to the promise of forever.
