I’m so excited to be sharing Hayden and Sarah’s Flippen Park engagement session today!! We had the best time together on this gorgeous Sunday afternoon. These two were absolutely stunning and the weather was perfect (*chef’s kiss)! Hayden and Sarah are actually one of our photo + video couples, so Hailey was able to come along and capture a beautiful love story video for them as well. We started off their session at Flippen Park – one of my favorite engagement session locations! The golden-hour lighting at this location is to die for. It creates such a bright and dreamy look! We then made our way over to Arlington Hall where we finished off their session. Arlington Hall is another location favorite of mine. I love the crisp white architecture and greenery – it’s a beautiful combo. Hayden and Sarah are such a beautiful couple inside and out, and I’m so excited to be sharing a little peek into our time together! Check out their sneaks below!

How Hayden Proposed

As any classic love story goes… Hayden and Sarah met at a bar! One night Sarah and her friends decided to go to a popular bar in Auburn called Sky Bar. Funny story – they were on the balcony overlooking the dance floor, and Sarah kept getting in trouble by the bouncer for holding her drink over the ledge. Sarah’s best friend, Amanda, mentions to the bouncer that it would be SO funny if he pretended to kick her out for holding her drink over the ledge. So, the bouncer “kicks Sarah out” and this random guy steps in to defend her. That random stranger turned out to be Hayden, and the rest is history 😂 Hayden and Sarah officially started dating in May 2019 and will soon be celebrating five wonderful years together!

Hayden proposed in the sweetest way!! They were traveling to Eureka Springs to visit Hayden’s dad for Memorial Day weekend. The original plan was for Hayden, his dad and his cousin to go “fishing” while Hayden’s stepmom and Sarah went shopping around town. While the ladies were shopping, the guys went to an Airbnb to set up the proposal. The tricky part was trying to get Sarah to come to this random Airbnb 😂 Hayden told Sarah they were at a “friends house” cleaning fish they had caught at the lake. When Sarah arrived, Hayden was waiting on the back patio and surprised her with the most beautiful proposal!! Of course, Sarah said YES!!! They spent the rest of the weekend celebrating their engagement with their closest friends and family!

My heart is SO happy for them!! I cannot wait to celebrate these two next spring at The Hillside Estate! Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Eskridge 🥂
