I am so excited to share this beautiful spring Arbor Hills engagement session with you today! Travis and Shea were THE sweetest and most down-to-earth couple and I enjoyed every minute of their session. The weather was absolutely beautiful as well, and it was such a fantastic way to start off my spring engagements!!

I have been to Arbor Hills many times before, but this was my first time photographing a session at this location. I will definitely be utilizing this location again! Thankfully, it wasn’t too crowded where we ended up doing most of the session, and we had amazing golden hour lighting. Let’s jump to the best part – how he proposed!

How Travis Proposed!

Travis and Shea actually met on Match.com and have been together for a little over two years – how awesome! They enjoyed some mexican cuisine for their very first date at Abuelos Mexican restaurant in December of 2019. After finishing their meal, they were just so giddy and didn’t want the date to end, so they enjoyed some ice cream together (in 50° weather – LOL).

Fast forward two years, Travis planned a trip to Fredericksburg for Shea’s birthday. On Saturday, September 25th, 2021, they both hiked to the top of Enchanted Rock. At the top of the mountain, they paused for beautiful views and some photos. Travis set up a tripod so he could take pictures of the whole thing! He asked Shea to turn her back to the camera so she could take a “I’m on top of the world” photo. **I love this next part**. When he asked Shea to turn around, he kissed her and told her how much he loved her and got down on one knee to ask Shea to marry him…!! In all happy tears, she said “YES of course I will!”

I absolutely loved meeting and working with Travis and Shea and can’t wait to celebrate with them at One Preston Events in October!! Enjoy a few of my favorites from their engagement session below!
